We are PROUD to announce our breedingplans for 2010 between:

Black/white & red/ white pups expected in December 2010.

We have been following Giza closely since puppy-hood, and she has been one of our alltime favorite basenjis. Not only does she have a BEAUTYFUL, basenji type appearence, that's been proved over and over again by countless  Best Of Breed wins, group and BIS placements, but she was even BASENJI OF THE YEAR in Norway in 2009, having been shown considerably less then her biggest competetors (!) Out of all the times she has been shown, she has recieved an EXCELLENT (Ck) EVERY time. Who can beat that?
In 2010 she was also BEST IN SHOW on our speciality under breed specialist Lisa Tyler as well as a Norwegian champion on her first possible show.
We particularly love her very good size and bone structure, her beautiful striding gait, her lovely wrinkled head with the desired side wrinkles, her perfect angulations, beautifully arched neck and steady topline.
She is however, not just beautiful.... She has the temperment of a lovely playful labrador retriver who loves life! She loves to cuddle, and I have never seen her reserved against anyone. The thing that amazes me the most of her is the way she has taken care of other bitches puppies. She immediatly steps in as a "play-mum", and she has even produced milk. I have seldom seen such an amazing motherly instinct. She just loves puppies! It is about time she got a litter of her own...
I have to give her owner Jeanette Strand a HUGE thanks for letting us lease this AMAZING bitch for breeding. You are the best friend ever!

Giza will be health tested prior to the breeding, and we will only go though with the breeding if the health tests live up to our expectations.
Her fanconi test reults came back as probobly clear/normal!  This means this will be an all clear litter!

Her partner is no other than the LOVELY Aus Gr Ch Afrikenji Hot Sumaknight "Sunny". He is the sire of our E-litter, and also to Kennel Doberguards Master litter here in Norway. In addition, he has sired some excellent looking basenjis in Australia. He has produced numerous champions, speciality and BEST IN SHOW winners, and in addition he is a big winner himself, I can for instance mention that he was:
# 1 Basenji in Australia 2009, as well as nb 6 hound in Victoria. This is quite an achievement, Australia being a BIG continent, inhabited by quite a lot of Basenjis. He has beaten over 2000 other  hounds, and almost 500 Basenjis only counting 2009. Sunny has won over 200 (!) BEST OF BREED wins in his carreer, as well as many GROUP and BIS wins. We are so proud to include him in our Kingwana lines. He must be one of my favorite males of all time.

He is not just a good looking boy. He is also decribed to have a lovely, playful and open temperment. He is even in top health, with excellent hips, fanconi clear, normal thyroid and minor PPM on eyes.



The combination of these two top winners of excellent type, health and temperment is a dream come true. Thank you to Helen & Jeanett for helping us realize one of our dream combinations.
